The reporter learned from the management agency of Liangjiang International Film and Television Town that since the spot opened on New Year's Day in 2017, it has already accepted nearly 4 million tourists in 70 days or so, becoming a hot product of domestic cultural creative industry.

To further improve the supporting facilities and service standards of the spot, Liangjiang International Film and Television Town management agency plans to strive to become a "National 4A-level Scenic Area ", hoping to enhance the scenic management and service level through improving and upgrading its infrastructure construction, including tourist service centers, star-rated toilets, the signage system, green leisure areas, etc..

To this end, the spot invited several experts to “inspect and prescribe”. Inspector Kuang Hai from Chongqing Tourism Bureau said: “the scenic area should further create a good atmosphere, increasing construction efforts on tourist centers, parking lots, toilets, guiding signs, tourism buffer zones, humanized service and facilities, etc., optimize supporting tourism facilities that both meet the 4A-level scenic area standard and match the reception capacity, and be familiar with the creation standards to strengthen the efforts of rectification of weak links in the process.

Researcher Liu Jian from Chongqing Tourism Bureau Supervision Office proposed to implement a qualified and standardized overall management unit of a major scenic area on the basis of existing operating units as soon as possible, in order to achieve a higher level of the unified management.

Zhang Guoping, director of Yubei District Tourism Bureau, suggested that the creation work program should be refined in order to speed up the implementation of the construction of facilities used for separation of pedestrian and vehicles in parking lots, to improve the environmental sanitation in scenic areas, and to strengthen scenic management training. Focuses on unity should be put between the scenic guide system and the style and features of the scenic spot, between business and culture, and between scenic spots and their surrounding attractions. Sustainable development of scenic spots should be achieved through the excavation of distinctive culture.

Wang Kunpeng, vice president of marketing planning department of Chongqing Liangjiang Cultural Investment Company, said that at present, great efforts are been made by Liangjiang International Film and Television Town to improve the application program according to experts’ proposal. It is expected that the application of the “4A-level Scenic Area” will be filed to Chongqing Tourism Bureau in mid-May, and that half to one year will be taken to complete the whole process.

It is said that the next step of the Liangjiang International Film and Television Town is to accelerate the progress of creation work, and it will gradually develop IP films and teleplays, mascots, mobile games and other derivative cultural tourism products and tourism e-commerce platform and also achieve third-party payment to further build its brand image.
