Wang Lingji Villa is a western-style 2-storey building. It was built during the anti-Japan war. It served as the villa (park of king) of Wang Lingji, president of Sichuan Province of Nationalist Government. CPC Chongqing Municipal Party Committee Organ took it over since December 6, 1949 as an office site. Chongqing Municipal Party Committee was relocated to the former site of CPC Southwest Bureau at Zengjiayan in 1955. As instructed by Deng Xiaoping, the former first secretary of CPC Southwest Bureau, park of king should be named as park. Red building used to be the office of Pipa Mountain Park.
